How to create a network, what you get, and how to keep it.

What You Get

By creating a network on Honeycommb, you get;

  • Member Web Application, including all web app features

  • Control Center (web application), including all web app features

  • Access to the Honeycommb Success Team

  • 14-day free trial of the Member Web App and Control Center

Completing the Get Started Form

Completing the Get Started form is easy and takes less than a few minutes.

Community Name

Name the community whatever you like. You can also change the name of the community after you create the network.

Honeycommb Subdomain

A subdomain will automatically be entered based on the Community Name field. You can edit the subdomain as you like. Know that you can always add a custom domain to your network so that the Honeycommb domain will never be shown to your members. A few notes;

  • Alphanumeric characters and hyphens only

  • Can not begin or end with a hyphen

  • Must be unique. If you receive an error that another network is already using this subdomain, adjust your subdomain and submit again.

Your Account

This account information will;

  1. Be the network's owner account

  2. Be the network's initial and only administrator (you can add more admins)

  3. Create a profile in the community

Agree & Submit

Agree to the Terms & Conditions and Sales Agreement, and submit to create your network immediately.

Successfully Creating Your Network

Once you successfully submit the Get Started form, your network will be created immediately. You will initially see a web page that informs you of your network being created. Once created, you will be redirected to your Member Web Application.

You will also immediately receive an email from Honeycommb about your new network. Keep this email as a reference, especially as a reference for where to log in to your network.

Your Web Application

Notice that once you're redirected to your member Web Application, the URL is your custom Honeycommb subdomain. Use this domain to log in to your network (/login). Click through the Web App walkthrough to get to know the web application.

Your Control Center

Your Control Center, where you and any other administrators manage and customize your network, has also been created. Because you're an admin, you can access your Control Center through your member menu or by adding "/control-center" to the end of your Honeycommb domain (your-subdomain.honeycommb.com/control-center).

Registering & Logging In To Your Network

Do not go to Honeycommb.com to log in. You must go to your custom Honeycommb domain.

Member Log In

To log in to your network, go to your custom Honeycommb domain / login (example: your-subdomain.honeycommb.com/login). Reference the email Honeycommb sent to the email address you used to create your network. If you have lost this email and have forgotten the subdomain you created, please each out to [email protected]

New Member Registration

New members can visit your custom Honeycommb domain / login to register to become or request to become a member of your network.
