Whether you’re running a professional network, interest-based community, cohort program, or private organization, Custom Fields help you better understand your members and create more valuable connections between them.

What Are Custom Fields?

Custom Fields are custom questions you create that members can answer during registration or directly on their profile. These fields appear on member profiles and can be optional or required, editable or read-only, and visible to different audiences depending on your settings.

Examples of Custom Fields include:

  • Location or country of residence

  • Area of expertise or role

  • Interests or goals

  • Experience level

  • Yes/No questions like availability, certifications, or preferences
